I attended easy way to stop smoking last month led by Emma. I thought I was 1 of the 'special' ones who this course would not work for. I couldn't imagine life without cigarettes but knew that was what I wanted. I am due to get married in September and my partner was desperate for me to stop smoking. I didn't want to be a fag ash bride. I had been nervous about the 10 hour flight to Cuba on our honeymoon without a fag. My partner told me she felt second best to cigarettes. My life had been a struggle before and I had experienced many years of mental illness believing cigarettes were my friends who got me through the hard times.
